Malori Rogers grew up here in Lubbock and graduated from Frenship High School, then she went on to play collegiate volleyball at Lubbock Christian University. After what seemed like a normal day getting ready for a game against Midwestern state, Malori suffered a traumatic stroke that would change her life forever. The recovery process was very hard for Malori, she had some dark days. But throughout it all she remembers how God was there with her throughout the surgeries and recovery process. Her dad was a steady leader during her recovery and still is to this day. She said something he loves to remind her is that "when faith is all you have, you have all you need."
Malori is now married to Tyler Rogers and they have two precious kids, McCrae, their 5 year old son, and Roan, their 3 year old daughter. They live on a ranch that Tyler manages and live a wonderful simple life.
Her book "A Stroke of Heaven" where you can read more about her story and God's faithfulness, can be found on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Westbowpress.com. You can also reach out to her directly to order.
